Cowes Boatyard - Boat Lift

The boat lift at Cowes Boatyard is a 60 tonne Wise Hoist, operating with an established hoist dock. We have an excellent value lift out, pressure wash & launch package available, with high pressure cleaning and sump drainage system.

The boat hoist can travel throughout the yard and has a hoist capacity of 60 tonnes, 15 tonnes per winch. Maximum vessel length is approximately 20m, with maximum vessel beam of 5.7m and maximum draught approximately 3m.

The hoist dock has capacity for two waiting vessels - with all bookings in advance. The hoist dock has a breadth of 6m and a depth of 1m at Low Water. Aim for a tide of 1m or more on approach for vessels drawing more

than 2m.

Cowes Boatyard is conveniently located for coming ashore for an autumn/winter refit, an extended stay or a fast lift out and launch at any time of year.
